A rare opportunity has arisen to join the UK’s leading Arboricultural Equipment Suppliers, based near Guildford in Surrey.

Honey Brothers is a small, friendly business. Our workshop specialises in the servicing and repair of two stroke machinery and garden machinery. Our customers range from commercial businesses that depend on our committed service, to domestic, home gardeners who value our experience. We are main dealers for Stihl, Viking and Husqvarna.

We are looking for a workshop technician to repair and service all types of two stroke machinery such as chainsaws and hand held petrol equipment, and ground-care machinery including ride-on mowers and rotary lawnmowers. The main focus being on chainsaws and hand held two stroke machinery.

Other tasks will include generating a record of work completed on an in-house computer management system, ordering parts using suppliers’ on-line systems, assisting administration staff and liaising with customers on a daily basis, both over the telephone and assisting customers at the shop counter.

 

Experience/skills required:

• 2+ years’ experience performing service repairs within the industry

• Proficient mechanical knowledge to repair and service two stroke handheld equipment and grass cutting machinery

• Familiar with Stihl, Viking, Husqvarna

• Good customer relationship skills

• Good communication and personal skills

• High attention to detail

• Good computer skills
