Signed and shared. Didn't theft of a mans (or woman's) livelihood used to carry the death penalty? Now that's a deterent!

Signed & agree entirely with above, the word would soon get round if they put em against a wall & shot them.

Sure is, punishments just don't fit crimes anymore. A man (mental health care worker of some sort) in my home town was in the paper very recently, got 2 years and a few months. His crime? Attempting to kidnap an 11year old girl near a park. Punched her in the chest and stomach to wind her, sent the lad she was with away and dragged her off, a chance call from her dad scuppered his attempt. Where the hell is the justice in that!

Also signed. Just hope it's a legit petition and we haven't all inadvertantly given our addresses away.

My very thoughts, should be able to sign using just an email address, not your exact home address.

I'm not broadcasting where i live but will happily sign if they can just go by an email address

He'll get his cumupance when he gets to Chelmsford.

I know that's not the point but it does take the sting out of it a little.

This is the reason I,m against the death penalty , I would rather think that chid killers etc are in a living hell and frightened for their lives every single day for the rest of their lives than be given a quick injection and off they go to sleep.

Kinda puts crime into perspective.

Maybe there should be a petition for these sorts of crimes?

Which prisons should these criminals be put in and who's going to pay for them?

I've not signed.
