Ms 201 TC-M not oiling properly?!

Does anyone else who owns one of these find that the chain doesn't oil that well - the adjustable screw is turned, so it should be oiling the most.

Check the worm drive isn't bunged up mate.

I have fixed plenty of ms200's that have had fully or partially blocked oil pumps. No 201's yet but it is worth checking as I'm sure it's the same setup.

Yup, most likely a plugged oil pump - just remove it and make sure the inlet and outlet union are both clear. It is unlikely to be the worm drive, only ever changed one on MS200/201s and that one was fried due to woodchip and bio oil contamination!

I bunged the whole lot up Steve!

Cutting filth for days with no may-tay-nance downtime.

To be fair, the worm drive was very worn, old 200.
