Hello Tony

Your picture is of a bike put together from machined pieces of timber, and numerous separate pieces. An excellent job dont get me wrong but it's not Chainsaw Carving as far as I can tell. The majority of chainsaw carvers use one piece of timber or when more than one piece is used it is often the off cuts from the original log.

There are motorbikes that have been carved, Harley's in particular and I m sure you will find a carver who will accept a commission from you to carve one.

It is out of my league I'm afraid.

Have a look on this forum, about 8 threads back someone posted about starting up on a tight budget, have a look at that for starters

I can't get these right, mine look like parrots.

I agree with Ukulian though. Easy enough to push that "hood" back bit by bit and see how it changes and looks. With that longer hood and shorter beak it gives it more of a vulture feel.

I also think what looks like a mouth/lips under the beak looks a bit weird, but I'm no expert, that's just my opinion...you did ask.
