Husqvarna 240e chain recommendation

Recommended Posts

I currently run this chain,

Husqvarna 15" .325 Pitch .050 Gauge Type H30 LowVib 64 Drive Links Chainsaw Chain.

What options are there other than getting the same please?

As above if you want to stick with Husky brand or Oregon's recently updated Narrow Kerf chain > Oregon 95TXL.

F.R.Jones have some excellent Black Friday deals on at the moment, 64DL Oregon 95TXL is only £11 +delivery.

But the 95txl needs to be used with a narrow kerf bar. Oregon Speed cut or Micro lite.

This is a entry level saw, the first 253/240 had the .325 chain, the later 236/240 has the 3/8 low profile chain this was done as it was felt the saw did not have the power to warrant a .325 chain, leave it as standard would be my suggestion.

The O.P is using H30 (95vpx) narrow kerf chain.
