Thank you for your reply, Shane. I have always used thin sheets of plywood as guards for stump grinding, but I thought that I would try using a windbreak as these are much lighter to carry around! So far, it seems to be working well!

 

I have only had the Predator Stump Grinder a couple of months, prior to this I have been using Carlton stump grinders, hopefully, this will be more reliable. What sort of stump grinder do you use Shane?
