A few more pics of oddsnsods.

Got  22 hop hornbeams and pin oaks to plant in a field to denote a boundary, erected a tree guard around one for client to approve and someone has kicked off about it needing planning permission. :dontknow:. New one on me but apparently they are classed as an enclosure.

Some landscaping works we are doing on a very steep garden, forming tiers by importing fill. About 1000 tons needed :scared1:

Got a fair bit of lawn prep to do so bought a stone burier for the compact tractor, got looking at the Winton stuff ( which used to be crap) and they seem to have got their act together . Beefed up the product a lot so bought a hammer flail as well. Its out on a job this week so will report back

That little stone burier had its first outing the other day, saved a fortune on bringing in top soil and thumped at least 95% of all the stones under the surface.

Is that a borehole pump tucked in the corner behind the wall?

That’s a really smart, flat looking surface. Are you going to seed it at this time of year? Or is it for turf?

Couch , cough, I spied a man with what I surmise to be a wee walk-behind seeder, so guessing  .  .  .

but I suppose it could be fertilizer going on, prior to turf?

Bugger iffen I ud want to keep that expanse of fresh turf watered in July mind.

Had a good run on seeding Mick, we seeded right through the whole of last year and the lot has taken. One needed a partial reseed but other than that it’s been so mild we now just go for it. Turf on this one would be too expensive, what you see there is about half of it.

I quite fancy a bit of that work, I have a compact tractor that doesn’t get enough use, maybe a stone burier should be on the list and a bit of diversification.
