Has anyone used the vermiculite stove liners before?

Seem to be cheaper than the original heavy ones.

Mine has vermiculite board fitted as standard . So yes . You can buy it in different thicknesses . It cuts readily with a band saw or jig saw .

It is good stuff, easy to cut to size and fit. I also use it to braze metal and is cool almost immediately after use!

Thanks for the info. Have ordered vermiculite, less than half the price of the old style bricks.

I have used Heat Resistant Plaster, Fire Bricks & Cement | VITCAS on a number of occasions and they always seem to provide quality products at good prices.
