  2. Thank you for those responses. Yes - it was always my plan to transplant away from the wall at some stage. I have a small patio garden and I'd like to put it in a nice big pot. Would it prefer sun or shade?

  12. Look in the tip directory always people looking for free wood
  13. Just buy a 8x5 tipper it will be narrower then the gd8x5, the one i have has been a great trailer moved tons of wood and chip, mini loader when digger is on 12x6 ifor. was going to replace the tipper with a 10x5 but have had a second thought and will probably find a GX84 plant to move digger easier.
  14. Hello all! Im making a career change to become a Dorset based groundworker and am looking for work from the 4th May onwards. Open to travelling and can be based in Devon for a few days a week. Chainsaw maintenance, cross-cutting, and felling 380 certs to follow in a few weeks but insurance and PPL/some equipment good to go from 4th May. I will be self-employed (from 4th) trading as Roots Up and very open to advice and suggestions as this is a new industry for me! I am coming from the marine industry, formerly as a sailor and latterly as a naval architect so my climbing has mainly been metal masts! Would really appreciate any work opportunities to gain experience and advice for knowledge on the industry and business management in this sector!
  15. I have this Lansing sideloader forklift on approval, and it is a great machine except it has a mast which sticks up way too far for me. I need the type of mast which you can use in restricted height areas like the second photo. With the one I have, at the same forks height the mast sticks up about three metres higher! It is a long shot I know but do any of you fellow arbtalkers know of someone who has a duplex mast from one of these machines they are selling? These Lansing sideloaders are quite common (common for sideloaders that is) and to my amazement I discovered they are made in Wales.

This machine was brand new in January, 2023. It has low hours and is in very good working order. Manual and necessary tools are included, as well as a spare set of blades that have been professionally sharpened. It has an electric winch on the front of the machine for loading it into trailers and vans, and also for getting it into hard to reach places. It has not had an oil change, due to the low hours. One safety decal is missing from the top of the feed chute. There are a few minor scratches, and a small amount of rust on a few of the fasteners, but apart from that, I would say that it is as good as new. The reason for sale is that I initially intended to have a small-scale tree service: hence the small chipper; but it has now evolved, and the jobs are getting bigger, so I need bigger equipment. Please feel free to contact me about any additional inquiries or about pickup/delivery.

  17. I don't follow them but this sentence is always telling: "When Mr Murrell was arrested last year, police searched the house he shares with Ms Sturgeon in Glasgow", as opposed to "his wife, Ms Sturgeon", they are never written about as a married couple more a business arrangement.
  18. Unfortunately it will require a replacement carb, choke pull and grommet, easy to do but the cost may now make it to expensive.
  19. ended up getting an akimbo and just having the zigzag with chicane for srt as it's not slipping. seems like a good combo. akimbo takes a bit of getting used to though eh? anyone have some tips on getting it dialled in?

I think that some got just pictures and words whilst others got pictures words and speech. When the data has been collected I might be able to post the totals. But not individually.
