  4. Cheers buddy will defo have a look around, see what there is
  5. Boring but reliable ...... 150 Never changed any plastic covers on it. Maybe it's a Toyota Auris.
  6. Did a few yesterday myself, stacked ready for chipping
  7. it does look good. The problem with my Esse1 is the door and air wash are too close to the top of the stove, causing it to smoke when first lit. Part of the new ecodesign nonesense. Whats the point of a stove that makes the outside air cleaner but causes indoor air pollution? i’ll probably replace it when the right second hand 5 inch flue stove comes up.
  8. Morning, rained all through the night. Taking the day off today, my backs not happy I thought I was a teenager for 2 days. So I’ll get the dog, breakfast rolls then go walk a Robo 2km job I’m starting on Friday.

  11. Wow, thanks for sharing.. I have original chineese manual for SZ130J, that is a bamboo chipper, but there is nothing about making a pellet chip dust... Here is a comparison of chips from my hand towed chipper on the right and SZ130 (with screen and relatively high feed speed) on the left. I would not consider it a dust, but is definitely smaller. My gardener is happy that this is better for perenials than the larger ones. I can blow it 1-2m away to the trailer with tarpaulin preventing the wind. Anyway it would be interesting to understand how to make it produce large chips, if possible.
  12. They/he are still ironing out niggles afaik.
  13. battery chainsaws are good if you're in a hurry ,have 2 good batteries(preferably charged...) and the work you're doing is not too long/hours and isn't too demanding. Otherwise I'll take the gasoline 2 stroke chainsaw anytime anyday! Now, for some years am running a Makita EA6100 but I'm "itching" for either a 70cc chainsaw or even a 390 chainsaw (395 seems good for me too 🙄 ). I like heavy things
  14. Best song for me 😎
  15. @Johnsond without foreign citizens willing to work for sht sallary EU and UK would be in prolonged recession... BAD stuff economically speaking...
  16. @sime42 asbestos, formaldehide and you're still here 😁 Anyway: burning oak ,hornbeam or any other wood in log form is nice. But if we would all heat our homes with only that,I'm sure we'd run out of forests to cut... 😂 Maybe if we'd live in Siberia we wouldn't run out of trees to cut... But as is, new forms of useable energy should be tried. Although Navien , NTI caprice 85 or even Kiturami condensing oil boilers are "tempting things" to have and use 😁 I myself am "cheating" still having installed some time ago a new condensing gas central heating just to be safe and instant hot water.. Unless using mechanized stuff at every stage, getting dried firewood will be labour intensive. At least here in Romania...

  22. alcoohol is for weak people 😁 on 15 november I will be celebrating 10 years since I last drank alcoohol. And it wasn't beer. P.S. beer should be free! or at least massively subsidized by ALL governments(taliban included) 😎

  24. As above are you sure the primer is connected the right way? Its short line from (normally the top of the) carb, long line returning to the fuel tank. The fuel line goes from the fuel tank to the bottom of the carb. If the lines are clear, you should see where the bubbles start from? Are you sure the carb was assembled in the correct way? If any of the diaphragms ripped, it could benefit from a carb kit. You can pressure test a carb, but do it gently to avoid breaking stuff. You don't need a pressure tester for this, if you blow with your mouth on the fuel line you get an idea if the pressure is dropping.
  25. @Mark_Skyland did you manage to sort the issue out?

  27. We will soon need another climber to join our team of 5 based just south of Oslo in Norway, preferably with ETW (European Tree Worker) certificate and have a minimum 3 years climbing experience. Since brexit it has been harder to get visas for Brits here so ideally the applicant will have Duel nationality or a European citizenship. My company is called Ekorn Trepleie AS and has been established for 12 years, for a little more info, please take a look at the website: ekorntrepleie.no Reply to this post or pm me with a short description of your certifications, experience and contact details, i look forward to hearing from you, thanks!
