  3. Ahh right on the carb. I thought you had the old 020 AV as that's what the L&S diagram is showing. Those av rubber always fail, they get soggy from the chain oil, they last a lot longer than the 201t spring though! Although the springs don't really fail but nearly everyone I've had through the workshop is twisted out of shape. I've got about 3 of those 020's in bits scatted about the workshop, one day I will put a couple together. One day!
  4. Not sure that's true. ""You are on here absolutely desperate for it not to be a particular something when history shows us it’s factually very likely to be exactly that.""

  7. It does have a throttle position sensor, its called the trigger unit. I think running a 13" bar is causing the problem. It must be constantly running at max rpm's which is likely causing issues with the auto tune. I understand that huskys have an issue if your running a blunt chain as that will also increase the rpm, I presume that its the same with stihl machines. I think you're right about it not having an air leak, what colour is the spark plug?

  11. So Trumpy is wanting to go into Nigeria "All guns blazing". Last week it was Venezuela. I think next week Kazakhstan or Somalia - he is just working his way down the oil producing countries trying to get cheap oil to prop up his presidency. Also to note, The ceasefire in Gaza is working swimmingly, only friendly missiles being fires about these days Putin is still invading Ukraine The Epstein files and names haven't been released officially yet He was given a nice golden bride, sorry crown the other week, though he isn't a king, as the protests show ICE raids have gone a bit quiet with the realisation that actually it isn't as popular as he thought Trump commented this week that a few TV presenters who criticise him are doing so 'illegally' Dementia like symptons are increasing... despite his continued attacks that Biden was not there mentally.. Trump is going the same way quicker Financially, the word he invented, Groceries, still costing a lot more than when he took power and promised they would drop, inflation higher than when he took power... but don't worry, his billionaire pals and family are richer than they were a year ago so all is good. He threw a million dollar party Friday night.., while government shutdown means many will not get their social money this week, "let them eat cake" (noting surrounded by 20 year old girls dancing) Oh, did I mention Epstein "can't believe you guys are still talking about that" His success is limited I think
  12. Yup, Rowena are the go to carb specialists. Hugo is da man and very helpful.

    Beer prices?

There's more than 2 and I've never had a problem - been in far worse pubs if your from 'down south' - but they have usually been awesome nights as well once the locals realise you're not a tit.
  14. Back from the UK and collecting the last of the chillis before the weather turns. I’ll thread them and dry them above the woodburner.
  15. There's still a lot of aftermarket parts for the 036 as was a very popular saw and as already mentioned, a lot of the MS360 parts will fit too. Also, the 'little brother' 034 has a lot of similar parts as well. BTW, just stumbled on a German company called Sägenspezi. They seem to specialise in Stilhl and have a large stock of parts for the older saws. Hope this helps and good luck!
  16. This sounds a bit iffy, maybe I’ve been doing it wrong for ages. Can you actually employ people for 5 days a week on a sub-contractor basis? If most of your weekly income is coming from one company, surely you are supposed to be on the books, no? My accountant advised me 20years ago that it was against HMRC rules and I’ve had people on the payroll ever since. * Three days a week is a different matter.
  17. Gutted. After last years season I had high hopes. How short my memory is, how foolish I am. Not the same relaying BBC live text commentary to partially sighted and slightly deaf Fossil. Good day was had regardless. Sorted the world out so the Labour bashing and Covid threads and numerous others in the members should dry up any time soon. "click" and back in the room to reality. Have a Lovely afternoon.

  19. Only the indoor range behind the rugby club at Chichester and rats in the back garden . Our club go to Bisley about once every couple of months . You can engage in nostalgia from any age because you never get younger , just older but, as they say " It aint what it used to be " 🙂
  20. I don’t like them. They have been used on snowboard boots for over 25 years. They used to break in those. Great backup and guarantee from Boa but useless if you are at the top of a mountain and you need to get down. I can’t see how they would last in a tree climbing environment.
  21. This is very interesting insight, i most likely i would have to agree with. I would never thought of that.
  22. Many thanks for all the help chaps
