Oh, that was their last bright idea to truck it to Bridlington or somewhere making cinder blocks as it was some eco friendly idea. Think after that debacle they went back to using neighbouring farmers fields from what the local teams have said.

He hasn't sued Musk for his tweet, why might that be? His 'birthday card', if legit, is about a sleazy as they come.

My guess is Epstein did procure a girl or two for Trump, but I have to say, these were very young women, not children. You could argue a person is not adult until 18 or even make sex illegal until 21.

Waffle? Your post is saying exactly what I said: "The world’s most powerful man is using his office to punish journalistic organisations that won’t follow his orders or who report critically on his policies. Donald Trump’s actions against the press include bans, lawsuits and hand-picking his own pool of reporters. "

Try 3m+ over say an area the size of Derwent 71 hectares.

I don't know the answer, but couldn't they tip it at the same place CaRT tip the waste from their dredging?

The silt will only be what, 1/2m to 1m deep? after that you are back to the old surface level so I guess if you can do something with the silt, dig through it you can increase capacity using what was the old surface level.... but cost and rewards... a few million deepening / widening a reservoir could be spent repairing leaks, not sure which would have the bigger success. Dredging of course can only go as far as the exit pipes from the dam else is useless

And yet more TDS waffle, so why would he be doing this then ?. As that's the only way you and Murdoch can be silenced is it not ?. Neighbour's application to cut back my tpo'd tree
LilyLangtree replied to LilyLangtree's topic in Trees and the Law
I'll say again, the boundary has been verified by a RICS boundary surveyor and none of the tree is encroaching on his land. He just wants to grab a bit more land for his shed. He's just crazy. -
Reading this this morning, it reckons that he has threatened many journalists / publications, those that have gone to court Trump has never won a case, many others have settled out of court - often after government pressures to do so rather than on the strength of the same. Not sure what the issue is - I haven't read the article, but everyone knows they were best friends at the time fell out after a real estate deal (rather than Epstein ***king children), it is reasonable for a friend to send another a birthday card.

So where are they going to put the million upon million tonnes of silt, it's not usable as sand as it's particle size is too small. From what I've been told over the years it's barely even usable as infill unless you wanted to fill up a disused mine as it becomes quicksand when wet bit like the banks of the Humber.

Mine had a shoot or two, probably grazed by chickens. It’s been dry too. Will throw some wire on it.

Good point.

Quick Update: coupla pics from earlier this month. ETA a bit of detail: this is pretty much the same spot as shown on the earlier pics: all those initial shoots sprouted and grew and were 4-6ft high in these pics.

never really thought about pics, wasn't so many cameras like these days, no mobiles, not much internet, photos generally were more in the realms of "evidence" for the case. might have a few kicking about somewhere, I'll try and find some. and yes, I have had a full life, some of the things I have done , looking back were pretty extreme too.

Morning all. Late up this morning but I'm worth it. Been a good week, busy and interesting. Some river work, a wee crane dismantle, some formative pruning, and the company of a work experience lad. I've been impressed with a 17yr old that's been early every morning, hasn't touched his phone, has sound mechanical and tractor skills (he's from a farm), and a calm, problem solving attitude. And he went to the top of a Sycamore yesterday, no drama for a first time in harness. It's been heartening. We'll keep in touch with Jamie. A flavour of the week... Have a good one folks.

Excels1or started following 660 drawing air

Got a ported 660, was running fine then after a few minutes cutting it would start to race, am I correct in saying this sounds like a seals gone? When adjusting the Carb/low/high it's difficult to get it to any sort of usable speed. I've checked the air intake boot and the seals on the carb which appear to be ok, can anyone recommend a pressure/vacuum gauge that would work? Any help is welcome. Thanks

Some pharmacists are allowed to assess "minor ailments" and prescribe antibiotics. I went to our local pharmacy but was told the pharmacist could only see ear infections for 17 years old or less. Then the man in his thirties in the queue behind was allowed to be seen for a presumed chest infection - seems a bit random/illogical. I used the NHS app to put a query in to my GP surgery and they issued a script for Otomize ear spray without needing to see me. They probably only felt happy doing this as my wife, a retired GP, had examined my ear and made the diagnosis. Otherwise I would probably have been told to go to the nearest walk in centre.

I can't see this migrant returns deal with France making much difference - whereas the Rwanda scheme started working before it even got off the ground. Next election hopefully won't go to Labour - Reform would be much more willing to dispense with interfering legal systems. Wishful thinking can be harmful, last election I was thinking 'hopefully won't go to Labour'. Even a literally hung parliament would've been better.
