And yet again more TDS. Remind me again what post Donald holds, compared to you embarrassing yourself with an almost addictive level of Donald internet searching as your track history of backing "political winners" is a bit poor. Plus I don't drink and neither does Donald, so yes I would. He ain't Jimmy, very clear distinction. No doubt you'll go on about morals Jada Jada. That why you drink alone I guess.

Read the list again, now if your neighbour had committed these crimes, would you still buy him a pint in your local?
-
Severn Trent water? Yes they don't rely on reservoirs as much - was in the news this morning - as Eggs is saying, but they haven't had a hose pipe ban for 30 years either.
-
Waffle waffle waffle, two faced changing tune. And unlike yourself I've always been pretty even handed with Donald. I just don't spend every waking moment trawling the internet for more "gotcha" TDS bs.

In politics there is always a move underway to replace the leader, might be the case now as you say that in the US that move has put in all the pieces they think they need to succeed. My view is that if JD Vance takes over mid term, he will be the incumbent at the next election - in US politics that makes him the favourite. I can't remember the rules, if he takes over mid term, does he still get 2 more shots at being elected again (ie, the rest of this one, plus 2028 and 2032?)

Not at all Gareth. This is going to upset you, me listing all his sex crimes again, but I don't think I have ever included 'sleeping with children' as one of them as you seam to be inferring that I did: Jean E Caroll - Rape - or in the state of New York, judge said legally not a rape but to the man in the street, it was rape. Junior Miss World, Miss World, Voyeurism -"I own the pageant, I can and do walk in on the changing rooms at will" or words to that effect Admitting sexual assault "You can grab them by the pussy" Of his own daughter: She is beautiful, but I don't know yet if she will have great boobs Of Epstein: Complicit in Epsteins crimes from his silence of the man "who likes them young" I think that is most of the list. There is no rage, but maybe time to wake up and face the facts that when it comes to sex crimes, your US based hero is no saint.

One thing that narcissists hate is their support turning against them... so from last week and Trumps determined messaging of "move on, nothing to see here" to this weeks messaging of "going to get the courts to release their information". If the leader of the free world is so easily swayed by public opinion then he is not in charge, the baying mob is in charge.

Neighbour's application to cut back my tpo'd tree
Steven P replied to LilyLangtree's topic in Trees and the Law
Yup, that is a good analogy as far as I understand it - anyone can apply to work on a tree regardless of ownership - happens all the time "Tree Surgeon, can you sort this tree" "it has a TPO" "OK, can you deal with that then sort the tree" "OK" The rest as above is about the boundary, and sadly sounds like it has gone past a civil conversation and you might need a legal letter sent to clarify the boundary, and perhaps another stating if the neighbour touches the tree that would amount to trespass and criminal damage. -

Had a problem with a Husqvarna 353 the other week it would bog down, then stop, over fueling. Anyway look at it yesterday, started it up and ran lean and no matter setting ajustment made no difference. Stripped carb and found water drops in there. Haven't re assemble it to try it, but was told years ago water in carb can give different symptoms.

When this thread as started in April I took some cuttings - similar idea to you, put in a bucket of water for 6 weeks or so till they sprouted decent roots and planted out - most are still going strong but they have a lot of summer competition (brambles, weeds, grasses...). Expecting them to be about 1m tall next summer.

You know the rules, touching another man's wifey is forgivable, touching another man's saw is like sleeping with his mother infront of you!. -

Neighbour's application to cut back my tpo'd tree
GarethM replied to LilyLangtree's topic in Trees and the Law
Planning permission is just the council saying what you're proposing is legal. It doesn't legally allow you access, with the exception of say CPO. Using a hypothetical, Tesco could put in for a superstore on me and 15 neighbours and it gets granted. Whilst they have permission for the build they have no right of access or ownership. -
Neighbour's application to cut back my tpo'd tree
Paul in the woods replied to LilyLangtree's topic in Trees and the Law
I'm surprised by some of the comments as I didn't think it was that unusual for some neighbours to just be complete irrational g*ts, surely an experienced arboriculturist comes across this from time to time? I once had a neighbour wait until I went out one day can climb over the fence and fell several small trees in our garden. Thankfully I was renting and quickly moved on. So, my sympathies are with Lily. It does sound mostly a boundary dispute, which AAHP seems to have answered well. However, I can see the dodgy neighbour trying to use the TPO app as an excuse to cut the tree and claim the council has given him permission. I know the planning process allows someone to put in planning for property the don't own but would any permission make it abundantly clear that you must own the land before progressing? -
Sorry to hear that. Hope you're well.

Well done, you can use Google, top of the class for you. Try digging a bit deeper, 40% of Staffordshires water is pumped from underground.

I'll chuck a few shillings in bud, never used Andy's myself but a life long friend of mine used it to good affect for a while. Unfortunately life got to much for him and he did the same thing as your mate during covid, when the service/group wasn't available.

The main water source for the Staffordshire Moorlands area is Tittesworth Reservoir. It stores water from the Upper River Churnet and provides a supply for homes and businesses in parts of the Staffordshire Moorlands, Stoke-on-Trent, and Leek. The water is treated to drinking water standards before being distributed.

Neighbour's application to cut back my tpo'd tree
Oldfeller replied to LilyLangtree's topic in Trees and the Law
so to be accurate and realistic, this has nothing to do with a tree, but a boundary dispute, of which you claim has been verified and he despite your apparent proof of its true location he intends to enter your property and cut your tree down to put a shed on land he doesn't own. how am I doing so far? I'm seeing a further post by GarethM and I'm inclined to agree with him, a solicitor should be your next port of call. -
At the moment you'd be hard pressed to get a rowing boat on the local reservoirs in the very area you talk of, never mind the QE2.
