Measuring timber

Hi all, what's the best way to measure stood timber, but garden trees rather than woodland, as I've quoted for a large job as the client is putting a new drive in but now she wants more trees felled! I'm just worrying about the felling licence implications now!

I may be wrong but if they are in a garden then you don't need a felling lisence you can cut as much timber as you like

I don't think that's right mate..... felling trees no matter what comes under the rule, 5 ton per quarter year.

you can get round this and fell 10 ton by saying one quarter ended and another started during the job!

double check to save a lot of hassle!
