Prickly larch

I have a lot of larch that I am planking with an Alaskan mill. I am finding that the saw dust, which gets everywhere seems to be full of little spicules. They get in my t- shirts and don't wash out for ages. Makes wearing them really uncomfortable and I end up picking loads of them out of my hands with tweezers. Doesn't happen with chestnut, that I normally work with. Is this a normal state of affairs? Anyone got any tricks to avoid the issue? Cheers

The joy of larch hairs. Never found anything to stop the the itchy little bleeders.

Check ALL the simple things

Yep, those little 2mm long hairs; look like fine ginger stubble. Yes it itches like hell; cutting larch non stop for years now so know what you mean! Nor they don't come out in the wash! I have particular shirts for wearing when I'm cutting the ol larix!
