Finally I have the technology to upload some old video. This is 1994, a customer made it, he was one of those amateur video buffs with a camera the size of a suitcase. Shot straight onto VHS format.

Anyway he sent me a copy and its been in the attic for a long time! I finally copied it to mpg4.5idvd something or other, and its now uploading to you tube!

I am not going to apologise for anything!!!!!!!!

Its old style 020, whillans T22 (I don't remember owning one of those) three strand rope, never heard of rigging back then, and one of those old chippers made by Bryant and May!!

Its still uploading!! Anyway I'm guessing it was a subbie job for Southern Tree Surgeons before they became Bartletts, I worked for a small company who subbed to southern and then I went to work for Bartletts full time after the change over, thats when my bad habbits really kicked in!

This video isn't that bad, I'm probably quite nervous, being sent out with a groundie to do this kind of thing! Niether of us had NPTC's at this time I got my first one in 1995 and that was it until 2002!

The groundie in the video is a mate from the pub who never had any NPTC's

Its still up loading..........
