Is £60 enough??

Hi, this is my first post on here, so hello everyone!

I have been with a tree company, who is a subby for BTS, for one and a half years now, I now have cs 30.31,47, ua1, ua2.1,2.2, ipaf cert. and first aid ticket.

I am sent out to cut the low voltage network, live and shutdowns from a mewp, in Norfolk with a groundsman, who is also on £60 a day, who holds a first aid cert, cs30,31 and ua 1.

Just wondered if this is normal and should be looking for another job, or just another boss???

Any feedback please???

Re: Is £60 enough??

well him being on the same money as you seems a bit strange , i guess wage is dependant on experiance and skill , but personally i would push for more money even if its only £5 a day more

I only see certificates of basic competence, experience is key, qaulifications/certificates are just a foundation to build upon.

If you feel your worth more money then ask for it, if they say no and your unhappy then look for another job, but don't leave untill you have that job secured.

Also is the year and a half with that comapny the only experience you have? Did the company you work for put you through those courses at there expense?
