Treework Environmental Practice is one of the UK’s leading arboricultural consultancy practices. We are valued by our clients for providing excellent service and innovation. We are seeking talented and enthusiastic surveyors to join the team.

 

Our core consultancy includes trees in relation to planning and development, tree risk surveys / inventories / advice, contract administration and veteran tree surveys and advice.

 

We envisage the successful applicant undertaking the following duties:

 

• Tree Surveys for Planning and Development (BS5837: 2012)

• Tree Surveys for Public Safety / Tree Risk

• Veteran Tree Surveys

• Delivery of Survey Information to Consultants

• Provision of Summary Reports to Consultants

 

We are looking for someone with at least a Level 3 QCF (or equivalent) arboricultural qualification with both practical experience and a good theoretical background.

 

You will need to be IT literate with a good understanding of MS office applications as well as capable of using specialist survey (GIS) software.

 

You should be able to demonstrate excellent self-management and team working. Treework needs people who are adaptable (i.e. willing to carry out desk work as well as field work) and who are willing to travel throughout the UK for which you will need to hold a full UK driving license and have the use of your own vehicle for work travel.

 

Ideally you will also have experience of tree inventory surveys using a hand–held computer as well as training in quantified tree risk assessment methods (e.g. QTRA, THREATS, etc.).

 

Experience and knowledge of GIS, databases and AutoCAD will also be very useful in this role.
