Bats and Trees CPD Course

Recommended Posts

Cumbria Woodlands are offering a subsidised course on Bats and Trees.

It's a one day course, held in the south of Cumbria (but not too far from the motorway) and looks to address the issues of risk assessing trees for bats.

You'll look at the types of features bats use, as well as how to identify potential roosts and how to rule bats out. It's aimed at Arbs, and Woodland Managers/Practitioners who may encounter bat roosts or need to make an assessment of a potential roost tree prior to felling.

You can find the details here: Bats and Trees | Courses & Events | Cumbria Woodlands

Mods: Please remove this is you deem it to be unacceptable. However, it is genuinely relevant to Trees and the Law in the UK, and may be of interest to some ArbTalkers. Cheers, Rich
