Due to an increase in contracts Sparrowhatch Forestry are looking to appoint a new member of our forestry team.

We are a small operation that works across East and West Sussex, Surrey and Kent. Our client base is wide and includes the FC, NT, Wildlife Trusts and private landowners. We undertake all forestry works from establishment though to final harvesting, woodland infrastructure works and all other operations. Although a large portion of the time will be spent cutting you will also be required to undertake other works in line with the above.

 

you will have the following as a minimum:

 

Minimum 2 years cutting experience

NPTC CS30,31

First Aid qualification

 

Ideally candidates will also:

 

be able to Operate machinery ie tractor, winch, forwarding trailer, 360

Hold CS32,34,35.

hold a full UK driving licence

 

This is a full time position with salary based on experience and responsibilities, training courses, PPE and equipment is to be provided.
