Cuppressusish

Can anyone id this one please? Just curious really as I have already put it down as cypress species:blushing:

 

No cones as quite young. Pretty soft. Pointed top/christmas treelike. 4 meters tall at present. I forgot to smell it...

 

Not quite the usual acid yellow of golden leylandii.

 

Note to self: Look at base for id tag.

Could be C. macrocarpa

Collins Tree guide was of no help. I have settled on C. macrocarpa 'goldcrest' from help of another member. The form and color are right (not in the book however, there it looks more like a C. m donard, whose form is too columnar to be it).

 

I have looked at Hinoki but I think the wavy form of the branch and scales do not fit.
