storing the saws

from time to time I come back and there is puddle of oil where the stihl saws are stored (get irregular (monthly summer ... fortnightly winter) use from me )

Could this be dripping out the bottom with the saws in it normal resting point ?

Or would it be better to leave them on their side (blade flat on the floor) with the tanks uppermost ?

Cheers

More likely dripping from the sprocket cover, so store them recoil side down. Or just empty the oil tanks.
