Deciduous just emerging, what is it?

Recommended Posts

Can you please tell me what this is? Thought I would find out with various books and keys but no luck so far... I thought it might be Saliceae as it has mistletoe plants on it but it is hard like a cherry/hawthorn. Some sort of prunus?

Last 3 pictures are one week later... Not going back to site so can't update further.

Thank you
