RFS Cert Arb at Horticultural Correspondence College

Hi,

Has anybody done this course with HCC recently?

I know that it is only the ABC theoretical side of the certification and I will need to send off several NPTC certificates as well to gain the full RFS Cert Arb.

How was the support? I am quite an academic chap but it's reassuring to know that the tutors respond to their emails quickly.

My understanding is that with my portfolio being externally assessed that there will be no exams whatsoever and I am free to take up to two years to complete it.

Any info is appreciated!

Cheers,

Dan

I have just started my RFS with them. Initially I thought they were slow at getting back to me but it appears it was my email server.

The folder they send you gives you the basics and then you have to go away and find the rest of the answers and complete the assignments. I've done a level 2 already but wanted to get back into the learning swing of things before attempting my tech cert so thought I would give this a go and it seems fine so far. If you are ok at researching the topics and writing the answers as an assignment then you should be fine

Jay, thanks for your reply. I was at college not too long ago so I'm still in academic-mode which is why I'm keen to get this done!
