Due to internal progression and contract awards Glendale is seeking to further increase our team of professional arborists across Devon and Cornwall and now have several vacancies for all levels of staff.

 

(1) 2 x Climbing Arborists – up to £21k p.a. – Launceston, Cornwall

Working for our Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor teams based in Launceston you will hold a minimum CS tickets of CS30/31 & 39 and have at least 3 years experience in climbing as well as a full driving licence (C1+E). Previous experience with highways working and NHSS12 training would be an advantage.

 

Our client base includes local authorities, estates, commercial companies and private land-owners with a huge variety of workload and excellent opportunities to gain experiences and career development.

 

(2) Utility Arborists – up to £21k p.a. – Launceston, Bodmin, Truro and Helston

 

Working within a team of up to 60 arborists, our 20 year partnership with WPD has been built on staff retention and investment. You will hold minimum CS tickets of CS30/31 & 39 and have at least 3 years experience. UA tickets preferred but training to UA standard can be offered to the right candidates. A full driving licence (C1+E), Chapter 8 and MEWP tickets would be desirable but not essential.

 

Over the last 2 year Glendale has invested heavily in staff development, doubling our sales with WPD and investing over £30,000 per annum in staff training and development.

 

An excellent package is offered for all positions including 28 days paid holiday, rising to 30 after 5 year’s service, pension, sick pay, uniform. Glendale provides all kit, PPE, machinery and vehicles.
