Oswestry Wood

Good morning,

Having contacted a couple of local companies that don't want the hassle of spare wood after a job, I've been looking at other sources of cheap or better still free wood.

I'll be building a log store with an easy 30-40m3 capacity in the next month or so, and need to start looking at filling it.

If anyone has anything going spare, be it free, well priced or in exchange for the highly prized beer tokens I've a trailer soon to be waiting for the nod.

If selling, also looking for cord, and would be interested in tonnes of the stuff.

Cheers guys and hope the weather stays like this, as I'm planting a 600 bare root hedge :thumbup1:

30 - 40 cube, thats a lot for a stove owner unless you have a log boiler.

Log store was cheaper/better than fencing for border privacy, and we can easily go through 10m3 a season. The fact a few friends will come and take some too, means a good amount drying is better than having to worry is there enough for more than a couple of years of burning.
