Description- Straw coloured mushroom, with pronounced scales on cap & stem. Gills pale yellow becoming cinnamon.
Host Species
Mode Of Decay- Parasitic. White rot around base of stems
(though occasionally at height on trunks/unions)
Significance- Can cause a brittle fracture.
