Description- Cap purple/violet turning pale brown. Stem purple/violet, gills purple/violet.
Host Species- Oak, Beech, Birch, Pine, Yew, Fir
Mode Of Decay Significance- Breaks down woodland leaf litter.
Distribution Notes- Quite common. Autumn to early winter.
