ISA Tree Climbing Competitions

For the avoidance of doubt (and following certain vicious rumours:sneaky2:) the ISA TCCs are not cancelled.

It is possible that you may have missed notification of the dates as they were initially posted in the wrong place on the website a couple of months ago... sorry about that! :blushing:

Anyway, these are the dates and venues for the ISA climbing competitions in 2010. Much fun to be had at the following events... they are not nearly as elitist as you may think or have been told - education and tree climbing fun is the name of the game. Everyone is welcome to come along and see what it's all about. :thumbup1:

Student Tree Climbing Competition and Conference plus 10 Year anniversary celebration - Moulton College, 2-3 June

UK&I Finals - Drayton Manor Park, 22-23 May (we may also run some workshops on 21st May if there is sufficient demand for this - please comment on this)

European Finals - Prague, 12-13 June

English Open - Southampton, 26-27 June

World Finals - Chicago, 24-25 July

Scottish Open - Barony College, 14-15 August

Welsh Open - Waunfawr park, 4-5 September

Irish - TBC, likely to be later in September if sufficient demand for it

Hope to see you in the trees in 2010!

I'm not sure how to take that! I'm retired now anyway!

Tony, you beat me last year! You got good points in the footlock which I have never done (well no more than 1-2 points at best) and that made up for your average performance in the other events!!!!

Does that mean you want to battle it out with rupert this year!!!!!

Battle of the Titans's

I always battle it out with Rupeski. King of the lower third mate - that's where the real competition is! You guys can keep your shiny medals, your big money prizes and and the plane tickets across the world - we're keeping it real (slow).

I thank you for the compliment regarding the average performance. I aim for average!

And I have proof that you were the winner last year by 7 points, so you can't be retired because I demand a rematch!
