Urban Tree Survey

Hi all,

I am currently in my final year of the FDSc Arb at Myerscough.

I am undertaking a study of tree species within the parks and/or streets.

In Bristol, where I am a Tree Officer, we are overly reliant on a few species.

It would be very useful if any Tree Officers with species percentage figures for their tree stock could share that information.

I also intend to create an alternative species list, and it would be great to know views on lesser planted species.

Not as yet, but funnily enough I was on the phone to Barchams yesterday looking at getting in a Wild service to replace a mature Ash we recently took out
