Swedish student work experience

Hi

I'm currently in a two year arborist program in Sweden, and as part of this program we have several "work place experience" periods where we go out and work with an arborist company to learn on the job so to speak.

I was considering doing some of this in the UK (specifically Birmingham because my sister lives there) for maybe 3-4 weeks this summer, but I'm wondering if it's actually possible.

I don't have any of the certs you use in the UK, but I will have a letter from my school detailing what I've been taught and what I can do, if I do come over, and have a letter that says I know how to climb, and I have done it in work situations before, will I be allowed to climb in a UK company? or will I be a groundie the entire time?

If you are an arborist in Birmingham and you're interested in having a swedish guy over for a few weeks, please let me know. I think it would be very interesting to see a different arborist culture than the one here where everyone comes from the same school with the same teachers.
