hi all, I have just rebuilt a ms200t adding a few new parts along the way (piston-rings-crank bearings-etc) so I started it up today and it runs great, revs out perfect and acceleration from idle is also perfect:001_smile: BUT the tickover is a little high and wont turn down with the idle screw:confused1: could this be the crank seals as I might of slightly damaged one replacing the crank bearings, any help would be great. thanks

I thought as much, looks like I will have to strip the whole thing down again to replace them:blushing:

You can dig them out without splitting the crankcase, hoover out the bit, take care putting them back i broke one they are brittle.

it wasn't to bad to be honest, the hardest part is fitting the new seals without breaking them, I did break one so had to order some more off ebay:blushing: they are very fragile and split easy so I opted for some after market ones with a metal outer case, I also managed to re fit them without having to split the case so I was happy with that as I only just re built the saw:001_smile:
