Right or wrong we have always transported our lids in our chipper hopper.

There's always 4 in there, everyday.

So last job one the guys got them out, bar mine. I was making a phone call ( tiny job so not enough for 2 men let alone 4!).

So groundie starts chipping away, I come over , where's my lid?

No one knows .

Mystery!

Until we come to tip off and there it is/ was!

Somehow he didn't see it, says it's not him.

Managed to see and remove he other lids though.

I'm impressed it actually got through the rollers as it's pretty wide!

But otherwise not impressed.

Now due to needing a lid ASAP ie tomorrow I have to choose from either a stein plasma or a husky technical.

Lol funny thing that....

No really he's a good lad but wished looked! Best part of £200 for that lid!

Not sure if I think it's worth the money tbh. I'll try one of the above and then I guess I'll know. It was good but then again my old £40 standard husky lid went on forever and never gave me any trouble.
