Pickup Systems / Plastic Arb Tipper Body

Hi All,

 

I saw that plastic tipper body at the APF that Pickup systems made for Ground Control on an Isuzu D-Max.

 

I'm talking to them about supplying one for us.

 

Does anyone have any experience of conversions of any sort from Pickup Systems? Or these plastic arb bodies supplied by anyone?

 

Pickup Systems tell me they're tougher than aluminium and have had no problems with any they've made - but then it's often not wise to ask a barber if you need a haircut...

How much are they quoting?

that'll be full in two minutes with a decent chipper. Must have a lot of jobs where they can leave chip and spread.

I worked for electricity north west they have a load of hilux's with these conversions. The first one we got leaked water into the tool box due to bad plastic welding. And they don't tip up far enough to get dense chip out without a bit of jerking. Other than that they're good! The team I was on had one transit tipper an now they've got 3 hilux tippers, I bet they can only carry as much chip on all 3 as on the transit :-)
