Anything starting with 1 is a base unit.

1.1 tracked slewing

1.2 tracked rigid

1.3 Wheeled Rigid

1.4 4/6 wheel articualed

1.5 8 wheel articulated

I think 2 is harvesting

Anything with a 3 is forwarding

3.1 Purpose built cab

3.2 purpose built bunk

3.3 Purpose built other

3.4 agri based cab

3.5 argi based bunk

3.6 agri based other

there is at least one more but not sure what they are.

I think 4 is winching/skidding

5 might be skyling

6 is is establishment stuff.

Thanks. I have base units and skidding but the 3.8 says it's fowarding/miscellaneous I'm wondering if it's front end loader

Ah yes the forwarding misc. I've never checked but i've always assumed its front end loaders and logging blades.

So you have some 1.x 3.8 and some 4s then? Would make sense once you skid it to push it around with a loader. I have a 6.12 which is stump treatment just a random number that came with my harvester tickets.
