First Aid Course Questions
Hi All, during the summer break from college I've decided to try to see if i can get some other qualifications under my belt.
I was looking into the first aid as without question one to get hold of... however i search on the net and i see many different types... Is the ''First Aid at Work - HSE'' Course the one i should be looking to get... or do you have to get one basic one to move onto the next? Thanks in Advance.

I done an 'arb specific' first aid at work (HSE) course with this company through my college.
This is their website: HSE Approved First Aid Training - ABC Response Training Home Page Give them a ring, they were very good and very helpful. Hope this helps |

try n do a 3 day course your a qulifed first aider then much more specific, learn alot more etc than first aid at work n emergency first aid.
Last 3 years i belive?

What driving lisence do you hold? Taking the test to tow a trailer over 750kg will be of great benfit to you as another qualification you could try and get under your belt...

The minimum one you should look at doing first is the one day Emergency First Aid At Work course. The four day course is aimed at appointed person first aiders inside companies and other structured organizations. If you're just looking at get some quals and you'll only be getting work experience and not a full time job just yet I'd go for the one day FAW.

Ok, thanks for the advice guys....
Looking at the college timescale for next year i have noticed that there is a ''First aid outdoors'' cert that i will get put forward to... don't know much about that though as of yet. Fair few of them ain't there !!! I may however just stick to the college one and try to get my PA1 / PA6 or like Tree Man Tom said - towing a trailer over 750kg.
