Thats pretty much what I thought harry. I deal with them for Kaaz mowers and am now considering the hand helds.

I have never sold the better known brands, only Tanaka, so don't have too much trouble selling my customers what I stock and have confidence in.

Made in japan very good anti vibe stats, spares might be the downside?

What are the TLE48 (Mitsubishi) engines like?

All I can say is that the down tube looks a bit skinny in dia. for a 48cc machiene . But , who knows . Might be a goopdun .

Kaaz always used to make good kit. When I started nearly 25 years ago, our dealership were selling their brush cutter and hedge cutter. They mainly used Mitsubishi, Kawasaki or Zenoah engines with their own bodies. Very good quality stuff. Problem we found in the end was parts supply. Danarm was the company that used to distribute them and they weren't really geared up for running a 'proper' efficient business. When we rung them for spares to repair machines...would would often get through to the owners who operated the business from a garage in their house and had all the stuff strewn about in boxes everywhere....it was all a bit 'heath robinson' then we had issues with the Kawasaki side of things as Danarm didn't do the engine spares, then Zenoah spares became non existent, as did Mitsubishi. We get them in occasionally now...20 odd years old still going, but we don't touch them because if we needed a spare, we just can't get them...and if we could find someone it would mean opening an account for a few bits a year which isn't worth it

All I can comment on is the kaaz/sarp 4/stroke lawnmowers all made in Tokyo,Japan-rebadged+ re-coloured  for lawnflite/danarm/kubota etc, etc.Basically the best mower(s) you can buy-hugely thick alloy deck,direct-drivechain,proper friction clutches and 2 speed,The finest honda engines-gx series. Not cheap but you'll probably never buy another mower.
