Only have .404 square ground in full skip link as well as 3/8 .063 chiesel...

 

 

I will try and get some of the other .404 in full skip but really hard to get hold of and expensive!

What's the advantage/disadvantage of square ground over normal chisel tooth.

Square ground cuts faster . Its a bit of a dark art sharpening with a file tough . Sharpen from the outside in as opposed to inside out as with round ground chisel . think you can sharpen it back to round ground with a round file but no point buying it in the first place if you do that ....

Fuelwood is the only place that I now of in the uk but this is where I get mine from

Reportedly (I haven't tried), it works well to file them into round ones, with the added advantage of the top plates initially being longer (I don't know if that is the case with all of them).
