husqvarna fittings on kask helmet

Hi all,

Does anyone know if you can but adapters for husqvarna muffs to fit on a kask/stein plasma?

Have new fittings on petzl but it has been through the wars so was looking to buy one of the kask 's.

I can only see msa or peltor advertised.

No bother if not ill just buy another petzl.

Husqvarna is MSA and stihl is peltor so you need the MSA ones

Yes you can use the adapters. But don't do it. I had the stein helmet with husky muffs with adapters it puts the muffs further away from the side of your head so when you click them down they don't snug around your ears, was ok with a saw but no good by the chipper, just got the petzl helmet and its 10 times better.

On a similar note, anyone know what size the little screws for the adaptors are? Had one vibrate out today, need to order a few more!

Screws for the adapter came out on my stein lid. Used a screw from an old saw carb works fine. Also used locktite when refitted.

i think they are 3,5mm . if you are stuck, screw off domestic electrical plug fits
