good for people who are unsure about tree climbing as a career or just a good day out

As part of the National Trust's 50 things to do before you're 11 and ¾'s campaign we bring you The Great Big Tree Climbing Company.

 

 

Highly skilled instructors can help all ages reach new heights in a fantastic tree within Nostell Priory. They will teach you how to enter a tree's canopy using ropes, knots and karabiners, whilst being securely attached in a harness at all times. Once at the top of the tree you will gain an experience which can't be found on the ground and if you're feeling brave take the zip wire back down! Each session contains a maximum of seven participants, creating a unique and intimate experience.
