Pedestrian stump grinder swivel

Just wondered if anyone had ever tried to build a swivelling platform for a pedestrian stump grinder to make life easier.

I think I read on here that someone always sat it on a plywood board to reduce friction but what about mounting a swivelling platform onto the plywood to swing the machine side to side easier?

Just a thought....

Yeah you'd have to keep moving the device but it needn't be too heavy only big enough for both wheels to sit on.

I don't do heaps of stump grinding so I don't want to spend the extra bucks on a machine that swivels. I was thinking of getting a cheap little rock machinery grinder which is only 125kgs so it needn't be a really heavy duty platform and I figure it's just an extra board to carry onto site along with the guards.

Just wanted to know if anyone had tried our thought it may work?
