Evening all, I have a rope wrench zk1 which I bought, then about a month later the zk2 come out:rolleyes:, my question is how much difference is there between the two? Would it be worth me upgrading to the zk2?

I manly use srt to access big trees and to do big reductions.

Cheers fellas.

I personally hated the zk1 don't ask me why because the only thing I can think of is just how wide it is, the zk2 is more streamline a lot lighter and smaller and I love it to bits, it's just sexy when you look at it from an engineering point of view.

Well worth a try obviously if you can without buying one but well worth the investment when you feel the need to change over. For what it cost also I don't care if it ain't broken the zk1 is pants compared to the zk2 ;)

I have had both and I definately prefer mk2. Slicker, smoother, smaller, and its RED! You can always try and sell your mk1, or use it as a paper weight! :)

I sold mine when I go the Zk2. Got 40 quid for it. Why not keep it and use it for a base rescue system?
