ISC rope grab (help)

just bought an ISC fixed axel rope grab to use with a flip line. It says in the instructions that rope would need to be threaded through the gab prior to termination, can i not just undo the bolt?

yeah just take the bolt out and place it over the flip line then rebuild the rope grab, make sure the bolt is tight!!

been sat playing with this on my flipline for an hour wondering if i have it the right way round and the attachment point, i was given a short strap to use in case of rescue does anybody have a photo of this set up?

There should be a diagram on the grab indicating the 'right way up'.

The strap is girth-hitched round the eye of the grab and then connected to your harness by usual means, the other end of the line is attached to the other point of the harness.

Let me ask - are you figuring this out by youself, or are you planning on getting some training?
