A challenge for the collective strength of Arbtalk

There are currently over 20000 Arbtalk members.

 

Only half that number of names are needed on the petition to the government to remove the Road Fuel Tax on the new generation Alkylate fuels.

 

I appreciate that many of you have no desire to use these fuels (Aspen and Motomix) at present, but that may change in the future as the ethanol percentage of pump fuels rises and more small engines are harmed.

 

So, just in case you may want to use Alkylate in the future, why not sign the petition now.

 

With 10000 signatures the petition can be presented to the government for consideration of removing the 58p per litre Road Fuel tax which is currently responsible for £2.90 of every 5litre can.

 

Arbtalkers alone could bring about this change. That would be amazing.

All signed up. Hopefully if we all pull together we can make a real impact. It seems crazy to me you have to pay road fuel duty on a product that you would never put in your car or vehicle. The government needs to see whats happening and sort it out, this wont happen without everyone pitching in and spending a small bit of time signing the petition.
