OK so I have been looking into these for a while, surfing the net looking for a video or instructions on how one would be done on such rope as bee line or armour prus. yes I have seen many of how to splice which line but I get the feeling its not the same.....a video describing how it is done including measurements would be amazing :thumbup1:

It cant be that hard to pick up the camera for 20 minutes and make a vid...

even though AP is a class 2 rope and brummels break at about 24kN on it, its not advised to do as the core has very low heat resistance, so a running rope that touchs it will melt it damned quick. This is a great instance where a class 1 used in a hitch situation is far superior. If you still want the measurements for the beeline though man ive got 'em if you want 'em.

wonder how long before this turns into a heated srt debate........

yea drew I would still like them, and a bit of a description( maybe a video...I find watching some one helps more than instructions), I was looking at them for a rope guide or strops. And I will take in what you are saying about the brummel splice eyes, as I was not aware of that....

And well I posted about the spiderjack and look how fast that went to an SRT debate haha
