Not mistletoe leaves😄 bark does look lime like but no stringy baste fibres and much too dense, wood looks vaguely like some disease elms I've seen in the past, by the way the leaves n log are definitely from the same tree😃. I did think it might be a euc but have not seen one with this sort of bark. I will try and get him to send me a close up pic as I'm not working with him tomorrow

What about hornbeam?😎
