Work out the load on the Prussic, then work out what strength Prussic cord you need given bending the cord to tie the hitch reduces it's strength. Once you know what cord you need then go for a rope at least two mm thicker than the cord and make sure that rope is stronger than the max load at the first pulley from the load. That pulley will face at least double the force of the weight of the load depending on your system setup. Clear as mud?
