Thinning jobs

Did a couple of thinning jobs today. The first was a nice copper beech, didnt get a before but i think the finished tree looks OK. The second was a sycamore, for this tree the client wanted the trees branches taking away from the house, so i gave the tree a 3m clearence from the house and a general thin. I'll put before and after photos in the next post :001_smile:

 

Nice easy friday climbing around trees with a silky :cool1:

......................Yeah the beech is lion tailed too the left but i removed more here as it was the neighbours on this side that had complained about the light and had pressured the clients into the job, :bored:........................or maybe im just crap:closedeyes:

No, not at all, it's just very difficult sometimes doing what the paying customer wants compared to what you know is best practise. I generally hate specifying anything more than the lightest thins or reductions (killer trees that are about to colapse are exceptions) and then try and negotiate a compromise. It can be one of the more soul destroying parts of the job, but hey, we are here to educate the ignorant masses :001_tongue:

 

But i'm unemployed, so what does that say :blush:???
