Hi all - new to the forum but hope you can help me - i need a ride on for a 1.5 acres garden and have been offered a used etesia mvehh ride on 2007 with 1100 hours on the clock - is this a good buy and will it have a few years use left in it - I'm only using it for the garden.

Lets assume its been well maintained which I will check - dont really want to spend more but is this a false economy and would I be better off spending say £2k for a new machine - if so what would you recommend.

The garden is undulating - many thanks, really appreciate some advice

I have a customer who is looking to partex an Etesia hydro 124 diesel. It's not something we would take in so we are trying to get an underwritten price for him. If it's of interest let me know. Look at the john deere x165 model which is a good machine with 48" deck for reasonable.money and you can fit snow blade or power brush to them.we don't see them secondhand very often

The average domestic use ride on will have between 12 and 50 hours per year on the clock, so 1100 hours is colossal. Ok, so an Etesia is a pretty good machine, but at 1100 hours it has had a hard life.

This afternoon I have taken a JD X304 in PX. It is immaculate, having done only 200 hours since its purchase in 2010. I reckon you would be better off buying something like that.

Forget ebay or other internet sales and buy a quality used machine from a local dealer that has been serviced and has a 3 month warranty.
