Could clip a trow bag onto the bottom part of the rope which is still hanging in the air to keep the weight on the rope should'nt need to when you've got some height. Try to keep the rope pulled directly into the spiderjack to help with self tailing, what spiderjackarry 3 on youtube for some good tips!

Like they have all said You need a bit of weight under it to help self tend. Once your up in the tree its all good One handed movement Feels sooo nice in the tree. And it has improved and built up my climbing and confidence.. Just be care full as i've have had a few slips and falls and panicked like hell. Slow and Steady, Just wait till you do a fast descend fell like SWAT!!!
